This side table was designed by Lørdag & Søndag in Mexico City and crafted in oak wood by master artisan César Zamorano of Torno Tonalá, in Tonalá, Jalisco.

The name Tecolli means “charcoal” in Nahuatl, the language of the Mexicas (Aztecs) and other Indigenous peoples of Central Mexico.

Regularly wipe it with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth. Clean up spills immediately to prevent stains, and use only mild soap with water—never harsh chemicals. Every 6 to 12 months, lightly sand the surface and reapply hard wax oil to maintain its protection and finish. Avoid placing hot items or wet objects directly on the table, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight.

Lørdag & Søndag is a Mexico City–based design studio founded in 2011 by brothers Salvador and Enzo Compañ.
