Founded by Hungarian-born artist Olga Fisch, the brand is now run by Bernarda Polanco, the fourth-generation head and CEO. Inspired by keeping her family´s tradition of craft alive, Polanco lives the mission of the brand she runs.

The late Olga Fisch established the Quito-based brand in 1942 with a profound vision to preserve and elevate Ecuador’s indigenous artistry.
