A Pop Up by Esoraa & Community Apéro
We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Community Apéro and pop-up by Indian sustainable bag brand Esoraa at the WLP STORE in Berlin-Mitte. Esoraa is a design studio located between Berlin and India, rooted in craft, form, and the stories materials carry. Their work draws on traditional Indian techniques such as handloom weaving and block printing to create sculptural, wearable pieces that move between heritage and contemporary design.
Join us for a glass of wine this cosy November evening to explore Esoraa's Soft Structures collection, featuring the beloved Warp Bags made from upcycled textiles. Each piece is rewoven on traditional looms, hand-printed with carved wooden blocks, and shaped through the touch of many hands — carrying the rhythm, patience and stories of Indian craftsmanship.
You will also have the chance to meet the founder, Karvishi, and try using the traditional handloom behind the collection yourself.
27 November

Blockprinting Workshop with Esoraa's founder Karvishi Agarwal - 9 November 6.30–8.00 PM
Additionally to the pop up, Esoraa’s founder Karvishi Agarwal is hosting a cosy craft workshop spanning over 2 hours to learn the meditative and impressive technique of block printing. The class will begin with a demonstration and cultural history of block printing before getting started on your own unique piece.
The outcome of the session is very much open to interpretation, you can create your own patterns and prints using the various blocks, on your choice of material like paper or textiles. You will leave with beautiful memory, a new skill and meaningful keepsake of your own making.
Let the blocks guide you!
