By Mexican design brand Caralarga.
This piece represents the organic evolution of our work, it takes the original design of our first Large Format, and adapts it to create one of the first chandeliers.
The Códice pattern is made with rows of raw cotton thread attached to a blacksmith structure; and involves the use of tassels and short ties of tinted thread as an artisan technique, following a numerical sequence 2, 3, 4, which causes the trimmings in the form of cut strands to repeat the same sequential pattern, generating in the viewer the sensation of being before a true fragment of encrypted language.
