The painted design is inspired by motifs from naive embroidered rushnyky from the Ivan Honchar Museum. The central element of the scene — a flower pot or vazon in Ukrainian — symbolizes nature’s awakening, recalling the archetypal image of the Tree of Life. The piece is handmade and hand-painted at GUNIA’s Kyiv-based ceramic facility, upholding the tradition of craftsmanship and supporting contemporary artisans. The use of gilding highlights the value of the object.
