The Lalu Chotu Bag from the Dhora Collection by Saheli Women is made from reclaimed cotton canvas and lined with naturally dyed silk off-cuts, it has been embroidered with the marigold motif often seen on trucks and tuk tuks all over India, symbolising the sun, creativity, purity and protection. The aim was to make the perfect bag— a bag that is ready for both a night out and for every day use; it is versatile and big enough to fit all your treasures.

The word “chotu” means small / little in Hindi and is a common term used to describe cute, small things in the village. The perfect description for our Lalu Chotu Bag. Designed to be easy to take with you anywhere.
