By Peruvian fashion brand Balkanica.

Bold colors. Bright orange, burgundy, black and grey create a striking frame for our ave sagrada, the pelican. Designed in satin for versatile styling—add it to any look with ease.

In collaboration with Museo de Arte de Lima (MALI), we present a special drop using Elena Izcue’s original designs, reimagined with our signature touch. This capsule not only dresses—it evokes. Based on Elena’s studies of pre-Columbian ceramics and textiles, each print is a capsule of memory brought into the present. Elena Izcue (1889) was a pioneer in translating ancestral symbols into modern visual language—long before graphic design had a name. In an era shaped by foreign influence, she looked inward—researching Mochica art and transforming pre-Columbian aesthetics into universal graphic symbols. Together with MALI, we honor her legacy: a woman who turned identity into modernity and memory into design.
