Crafting New Design Narratives
White Label Project (WLP) is excited to announce its exhibition and concept store "Crafting New Design Narratives” at Berlin Design Week, May 28 to 30, 2026.
The exhibition takes place at the WLP Store in Berlin-Mitte showcasing the following impact brands next to a selection of permanent pieces of WLP: Abitante (Mexico), Côté Bougie (Morocco), and Tiipoi (India). Blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics, these design brands tell new stories about origin, identity, and collective creativity - while formulating new global design narratives.

Abitante
Abitante is a Mexican design studio founded by Ana Tron creating art objects with maximum sensory impact and minimal environmental impact. In the face of the climate crisis, sustainability is an obligation that stands at the heart of Abitante’s design mission. Using recycled materials such as paper, plastic, fabric scraps, etc., the studio ensures that the product, the creation process, and even its delivery to the customer have the lowest possible environmental impact.
Côté bougie
Côté Bougie is a Moroccan candle and home fragrance brand founded in 2003 by Saïda Kadiri and based in Marrakech. With scents inspired by the landscape and containers crafted by artisans, the brand celebrates and promote Moroccan craftsmanship and tradition. They work directly with cooperatives of female artisans across the country towards the emancipation of Moroccan women. All scents are developed in Grasse, France and are ecologically produced.
Tiipoi
Founded in 2013 by Spandana Gopal, Tiipoi is a British-Indian design brand based between London and Bangalore. With a range of homewares, textiles, and decor inspired by daily life, Tiipoi's designs celebrate contemporary design and rich materials. The brand collaborates with artisan communities across India, and are deeply committed to local sourcing and ethical practices.

Join us for the opening vernissage of our upcoming showroom Crafting New Design Narratives, curated by White Label Project at its concept store during Berlin Design Week.
To mark the opening of its showroom: Crafting New Design Narratives, White Label Project warmly invites you to enjoy a drink, while discovering the designers together and engaging in an open exchange about contemporary design, cultural perspectives, and new forms of craftsmanship. The opening provides a space for encounters and new ideas centered on the question of how design today can help shape social, cultural, and sustainable narratives.

CRAFT & DESIGN TOUR
Join us for a curated Craft & Design Tour through our showroom Crafting New Design Narratives curated by White Label Project during Berlin Design Week.
Our co-founder Ann-Kathrin Zotz invites you to discover a curated selection of international designers whose practices merge craftsmanship, cultural heritage, and contemporary design. The showroom features works by designers such as Abitante and Caralarga from Mexico, Tiipoi and Objectry from India, Gunia Project from Ukraine as well as Coté Bougie from Morocco.
Blending traditional techniques with contemporary aesthetics, the showcased objects and furniture tell stories of origin, identity, and collective creativity while shaping new global narratives in contemporary design. Throughout the tour, we will explore how design today can foster cultural dialogue, preserve artisanal knowledge, and contribute to more conscious and connected ways of creating.
The Craft & Design Tour offers an opportunity to engage more closely with the stories, materials, and processes behind the exhibited works while connecting with the White Label Project community and discovering a curated selection of international designers redefining contemporary craftsmanship and design.
