The Nenzima Blanket was designed in collaboration with SMTNG GOOD Studio and forms part of the African Crowns Collection, a body of work inspired by traditional African tribal hairstyles and the women who wore them. The blanket’s bold, graphic lines draw from the distinctive elongated heads and sculptural coiffures of Mangbetu women in the early 20th century, hairstyles that symbolized power, grace, and high social standing, reimagined
here as a celebration of cultural beauty and form.
