The Kuna Textile was hand-sewn by artisan women of the Guna Dule community of Caimán Alto, Colombia. For generations, artisan women have passed down the ancient appliqué technique of hand-sewing cut-out layers of fabric to form an intricate piece of art. Each fabric features a unique design by the artisan woman who carefully crafted it. Beliefs and traditions can be woven into each composition in the Guna culture. Some depict stories, animals, or daily scenes, while others portray a more abstract design.

Neon colors are back and it's all about accessories. The limited edition neon collection was created using sophisticated geometric patterns that juxtapose the bright bold shades of the season with neutral black and white.

Entirely handsewn by the Guna Dule community of Caiman Alto, Colombia, its generous shape features a fold-over flap and fits a large wallet, sunglasses, and keys. Wear it as a clutch or crossbody with its detachable leather strap.

The Zig Zag dress is handmade in Peru by fashion design brand Maqu. 

Made of 100% Pima, a high-end variety of cotton particularly soft, light, and stable. This fiber absorbs color better, brings it out better, and allows it to endure without fading. 

Temperature-balancing and breathable since Pima fibers store body heat when cold and regulate when hot. This fiber is also suitable for sensitive skin as Pima does not scratch and thus ensures exceptional wearing comfort.

Crafted by the Kuna Women in Colombia, the designs combine traditional geometric patterns with intricate hand-sewn appliqués of various native birds and plants.

To accentuate the Kuna textiles that decorate the side of each tote, our artisan weavers of the Chimichagua region naturally dyed the Estera palm fibers in brilliant hues inspired by the brilliant colors found in coral. Finished with handles made out of woven cotton, the large tote is designed to be sturdy and fit all sorts of goodies and practical daily items such as computers.

The technique used for the crafting of this bag originates in its eponymous municipality in the coastal region of Cesar, Colombia. It was traditionally used by indigenous communities to make sleeping mats from the Estera palm. Today, it has been adopted by afro communities and has evolved into natural rugs and placemats, most of them featuring geometric designs in various color combinations. This craft constituted a prosperous home industry, but today is being threatened by agriculture, cattle raising, and expanding urban expansion.
