participating Brands
Saheli Women
Saheli Women is a female-led social enterprise founded in 2015 by Madhu Vaishnav in the rural village of Bhikamkor, Rajasthan, India with the mission of empowering over 70 women artisans through ethical slow-fashion and sustainable livelihoods. The collective co-creates handcrafted garments featuring hand-embroidery, block printing, natural dyeing, and handloom fabric with notable international brands such as Zazi Vintage, Louise Misha, Lekha, El Pelut, and Mountain & Moon. Their most recent Dhora Collection is now being showcased during Berlin Fashion Week, reflecting both creative craftsmanship and conscious design on a global platform.
Lafaani
Lafaani is a circular, sustainable fashion brand based in India, its name drawn from the Urdu word for "immortality." Founded by Drishti Modi and Rashmick Bose - both environmentalists - the brand creates heirloom-quality garments that combine traditional Indian craftsmanship with modern, multifunctional design. Each piece is handcrafted from indigenous cottons - hand-spun, hand-woven, naturally dyed, and 100% biodegradable while supporting fair-living wages and fostering artisan collaboration. With eco-conscious principles embedded throughout, Lafaani celebrates timeless style, cultural heritage, and circular design from seed to stitch.

WLP Curation
During Berlin Fashion Week, White Label Project presents a curated selection of female-founded impact brands from around the world. This season’s line-up includes Mola Sasa (Colombia), De Castro (India), Gunia Project (Ukraine), Sac de Soul (Guatemala), Curadox (Mexico), Pichulik (South Africa), Sevar Studios (Afghanistan), Studio Conchita (Mexico), and more. These brands marry contemporary design with rich craft heritage such as hand-stitched Kuna textiles, Indian ikats, and Ukrainian folk traditions reflecting WLP’s commitment to preserving artisanal techniques, supporting fair income, and encouraging conscious consumption. Natural Dye Workshop with Saheli Women
Join Saheli Women's founder Madhu Vaishnav as she leads you through the Indian natural dye technique of eco printing.
The Workshop
The workshop starts with a joint meditation and an introduction to the traditional eco-printing techniques over some chai and cardamon lattes generously provided by Codos Coffee.
Each participant will receive an Indian silk scarf to be individually designed and printed during the workshop. The workshop will end with each participant taking their scarves with them and being inspired by the rich stories about Indian craftsmanship.
About eco-printing
Eco-printing is a sustainable botanical print technique that transfers a natural print onto fabric. In the eco-printing process, colour is extracted from natural plant materials, like marigold and English rose and transferred onto the fabric, secured by steam.
The beauty of eco-printing is that no piece of fabric will ever be exactly replicated. Each garment made from eco-printing is completely unique and irreproducible. The print depends on the placement of the petals as they are scattered on the fabric by hand. It is also a completely natural and slow technique that uses renewable materials and is not harmful to the environment.
All materials are provided for you to create your own unique eco printed silk scarf.
Available time slots:
Thursday 7.30PM–9.30PM
Friday 7.30PM–9.30PM

About Rajasthani embroidery
Embroidery is a culturally rich technique in Rajasthan. Our female artisans are trained in both traditional Indian and Rajasthani embroidery techniques, such as shisha, rabari, zari and sindhi, as well as more contemporary embroidery techniques.
Shobha, our Embroidery Manager, is always coming up with innovative modern techniques every day and can just about embroidery anything onto garments! If you have a garment you would like to mend through embroidery, we also recommend bringing this along.
Hand embroidery takes time, care, great attention to detail and love.
All materials are provided for you to create your own unique piece of embroidery on a cotton scarf.
