UKRAINIAN HERITAGE

CERAMICS
Ukrainian housewives handmade ceramic plates with hand-painted ornaments and patterns. Gunia Project reapproached this concept by producing items that look as great in the kitchen as they do in decor. Their designs are inspired by embroidered rushnyk, antique towels, and Ukrainian folklore.

TEMPERED GLASS
Guta glass, traditionally made in the Carpathiansthe mountainous region in the Western part of Ukraine, is obtained through a handmade process. Afterward, once the design is done, the color is added, which makes it challenging to work with, craftsmen must have a specific set of techniques and methods of manual processing of glass in a hot state to create these pieces.

GUNIA DESIGN
The silk scarves designs are inevitably connected to different arts — painting, icons, woodwork, and ceramics. Their decoration and ornamentation are based on native folk paintings and handmade ceremonial holiday sewing with a unique brand design highlighted in popped and soft colors.
