Ayni is a Danish-Peruvian fashion brand grounded in sustainability and ethical production. Lærke, a young Danish woman, traveled to Peru to immerse herself in the country’s vibrant culture, rich history, and ancient traditions. Little did she know, this journey would change her life forever. During her travels, she met Adriana, a spirited Peruvian from Lima, who warmly shared the essence of her culture. As their friendship blossomed, they discovered a shared passion for fashion and a mutual desire to create a positive impact. Despite their seemingly different backgrounds and heritage, they found common ground in their design and textile traditions. Together, they explored the rural heart of Peru, but it was a defining trip to Amantani, an island in Lake Titicaca, that truly shaped their journey. Here, they were introduced to the profound concept of Ayni, which would inspire their vision for the future.
