Cariño Mio Corset

While I was sourcing materials in Mexico City I found a little embroidery stall and immediately thought of grandma. They are previously printed canvases and they will fill em with colour on their spare time after house work is done. You can find in most of mexican houses this pieces of art made by the women in charge of the house. I wanted to put this out somehow. So this corsets are a puzzle of this canvases but empty. Without the embroidery. Without the colour. What would happen in the house without women’s work? A work that’s been silenced since forever.
