Oumaäti was founded by the two sisters Oumama and Naila Charkaoui from Casablanca, with the ambition to perpetuate Moroccan heritage and leather craftsmanship brought to them by their father, anchoring it in modernity respectful of the immemorial art.

Oumaäti not only honors its roots by creating their pieces through a traditional art form but also by following a desire to redesign an everlasting classic leather bag.

We work with

A family-owned workshop allows overviewing of design, hand-selected materials, and manufacture. The Oumaäti workshop is mentored by Maäti, the founders' father, a leather expert with more than 40 years of experience. To honor the Moroccan leather tradition, they work with only local artisans, companies, and suppliers.
