what is ayurveda?
Ayurveda is one of the oldest health systems in the world for harmonising mind-body-soul or the science of life (in sanskrit, ayur means life + veda means knowledge/science). It is much more than a system of natural healing, it is the perfect combination of science and wellness. This practice includes five therapies to release and eliminate accumulated toxins from deep within the tissues to help balance the three doshas.

Vata's elements are space (akasha) and air (vayu). It is the most important dosha as it is the force of all movementand circulation within the body. If you have a vata body, your skin is likely to be thin, dry andrough with a propensity for wrinkles early. Vata skin is prone to pigmentation and tans easily.

Pitta is the dosha of fire (tejas) and water (jala). It is the source of all internal transformation and digestion. People with a Pitta constitution tend to have moist, oily and elastic skin. Pitta skin has a healthy blush, moles and freckles.

Kapha is made up of water (jala) and earth (prithvi). This dosha is responsible for healing and immunity. If you have a Kapha body, your skin is likely to besoftandmoist to oily. Kapha's tend to have an even and clear complexion.

WE SUPPORT
HEALING HIMALAYAS
For every product we sell, we donate a portion of our profits to Healing Himalayas, a charity committed to cleaning up the waste spread across the mountains. Reducing plastic is important to us, we did everything we could to ensure our own packaging has as little plastic as possible and set-up a recycling program before we sold our first product. We can all make a difference, thank you for your contribution.
