Xhosa Culture is a Bantu group from an Eastern Cape with a history dating back to mid XVII century. Its name comes from legendary leader called uXhosa. Famous for its flair for eclectic fashion, a traditional Xhosa dress is called isikhaka and is often worn together with inxili bags and beautiful, beaded jewelry. Today the tradition of Xhosa patterns is explored by brands such as South African Maxhosa, famous for its knitwear.
