The unique vase by the design studio IBKKI is handcrafted by local artisans in the Djurdjura mountains in Algeria.

 It was fired and glazed several times in order to obtain the different colour effects and depth perception.

IBKKI

Ibkki was founded by design-duo Youri and Azel to explore traditional techniques of the cultural home of Numidia in a collaborative design process and to adopt a new perspective on local artisanal and artistic creation. While the design studio is based in Paris, the workshops are in the mountains of Kabylia, Algeria - the home of one of the co-founders.
