The Butterfly Small Purple Bag is crafted in Yikene by the Ghanaian jewelry design brand Aketekete founded by Michael Nana Beyin Gyan and Maria Bernat Astorga in Elmina.

The Butterfly Bag is your new ‘must-have’ for the summer. This perfectly sized bag is crafted with straw and features netting details. The butterfly-shaped basket comes with a hand-dyed colorful lining and removable cloth handle to keep all little essentials in place.

The Aketekete Bags Collection is created in partnership with highly talented weavers and dyers from Ghana.

Aketekete chooses to use over-stock materials sourced from markets to create its linings hence fabric texture might differ from product to product.
