The women crafters are from Semati Koroka, from the community of Norogachi, in the municipality of Guachochi, Chihuahua, in the Sierra Tarahumara.

The candle holder is inspired by the craftsmanship of wood carving in Guerrero. Born from the collaboration with 3 artisans, who currently are the only family in the community that is dedicated to wood carving. Mauro López Sandoval, father of Antonio and Mauro López Bautista, was the one who decided to learn the technique in order to inherit it to his children.

The Teitipac Hanging Lamp made of agave espadin fibers, the artisan women part of Hermano Maguey extract the fiber from the waste leaves of the mezcal industry in collaboration with Teitipac weavers.

Basket woven with wild palm leaves, in Tlamacazapa, Guerrero, where 80% of the population is dedicated to weaving the palm leaves, a technique that has been taught generation after generation. To make these pieces of traditional art, the palm leaves are soaked for several minutes so that it does not hurt the hands, does not splinter, and this natural fiber is much more manageable.

Weto decorative bowls honor the tradition of clay molcajetes. Its interior rough finish helped to grind different ingredients in food preparation. The Zapotec word Weto means to grind. The color of barro negro black clay is due to the specific properties of the clay from this region and the firing process.

The Limo Cantarito honors the ancient tradition of offering a glass of water. Made using the traditional technique of burnished clay, the Cantarito transmits the flavor of the earth to the water and maintains it fresh. 

To define the shape, the traditional silhouette of the pitcher from Tonalá was selected, modifying the proportions and adding a three-legged base, to raise it from the table and allow the air to embrace it. The Cantarito includes a glass to serve water.

Size: 18 x 25,5 cm; 1,300 ml.

Material: Burnished Clay

Colors: Raw clay.

Care: Cure the piece before its first use to seal the pores. Place the piece in a container, cover it with water until it is completely submerged, and leave it to act for 24h. Dry with a cloth. Wash with water and a little liquid-neutral soap, using a soft sponge, and dry with a cotton cloth. To keep the appearance of the products in good condition, we suggest not using chemical products, polishes, or abrasive materials such as sponges or metal scourers.

The Chiapas Blouse features a 3/4 sleeve with traditional embroidery from the Agucatenango community with floral motifs of daisies and rococo. The entire blouse is handmade with a buttonhole stitch on the neck, joining the pieces with hanging chain embroidery, and pleating in sleeves. As a detail on the sleeves and neckline, matching pompoms are included.

Rattan wicker is a vegetable fiber obtained from a bush of the willow family, the stem and branches of the plant are dried and woven.
