Chasqui represents the energy and intense aura that envelops the courier during his fast-paced runs through nature. Elements from the sea, the jungle and the Andes come together in a unique blend. Out of a combination of Eau de Cologne and Eau-fraîche emerges a simple and clear and, at the same time, artfully refined freshness.

Chasqui [Tscha-ski]
Inca courier whose mission was to deliver news, orders and valuables among the members of the ruling class. The Chasqui-runners relied on their physical strength, on their energy and endurance. They followed an elaborate system of relays placed all over the Inca empire from the sea coast to cloud level in the Andes. Due to their relevance for the Inca elites, the Chasqui had access to the benefits of the coca leaf, which they used as an energizing element. Their legacy can be experienced today on the legendary Inca Trail.

Paq‘os [Pa-kos]

The ceremonies also had a purifying and healing effect. As members of the Inca elite, they were allowed to use the coca leaves for their purposes. Nowadays, the descendants of the Paq’os can still be visited in southern Peru.
